Bismarck Art & Galleries Association is a non-profit art gallery that is free and open to the public. Every month you’ll find a new exhibit filled with paintings, drawings, sculpture, or fiber arts, created by local, regional and national artists. A few times a year, group exhibits are installed where more than 70 artists may be represented at a time. The gallery is housed in a historic railroad warehouse in Bismarck’s beautiful downtown. Stop in to view art or shop the Gallery Store Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm or Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm. The gallery is closed Saturdays Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Step into our historic buildings and hear the stories of the people who moved here, built our towns and homesteaded the prairies of North Dakota. These are actual buildings dating from 1875 to 1935 and moved to this site by the Missouri Valley Historical Society for preservation. Gateway to Science is North Dakota’s hands-on science center. Located in the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex at 1810 Schafer Street in north Bismarck, south of I-94, Exit 157. Families and children of all ages will enjoy the interactive exhibits, programs, and special events throughout the year.
Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 12pm-6pm; Friday 12pm-5pm; Saturday 10am-5pm. The gallery is closed on Sundays.
Adult admission is $9, children $6 (ages 4-17). Children under 4 are admitted free with a paid adult admission. Admission with an EBT card is $3 per person (maximum 4 per group.) Memberships are available.

The Bismarck-Mandan Orchestral Association began as the Bismarck-Mandan Council for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. In 1974 the Chamber Orchestra presented a successful three-day residency in Bismarck and wanted to make Bismarck their first Regional Home City.
By late 1975 interest was growing to start an orchestra in the Bismarck-Mandan area. The Bismarck-Mandan Orchestral Association was formally organized in February 1976 as a non-profit tax-exempt corporation founded as a sponsoring organization for the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra.
