As our Bureau’s CEO, Sheri is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the organization. Sheri earned the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation, the only integrated executive program specifically designed for the Destination Marketing Industry. Sheri has been with the CVB since July 1997 and took over the reigns as the CEO April 1, 2015, after serving as the CVB’s Chief Operating Officer.

Michael joined the CVB January 2022. Michael is a recent University of Mary graduate and joins us with a background of customer service support from a local insurance agency. As the Sales & Services Coordinator, Michael assists the sales team with providing services to our meeting and event planners. He also handles our office administration, website execution, calendar of events and membership billing.

Marcus joined the CVB April 2023, bringing with him a background in the service and hospitality industry. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and is excited to promote the community where he was raised. As a Sales Account Manager, Marcus works with meeting planners connecting them to the best facility and providing the necessary services to help make Bismarck-Mandan an easy destination. Marcus's primary market segments include: Education, Agriculture, Medical, Corporate, Ethnic and Family & Class Reunions.

Lacey joined the CVB February 2022 with a background in customer service, office administration and graphic design. As the Visitor Services & Membership Coordinator, Lacey assists visitors with travel plans as well as maintaining and growing the bureau’s membership program. Her interest in history makes her a great fit in helping visitors with their travel needs. She also helps run the Genuine Dakota Gift Shop and oversees summer visitor center personnel.

Camie joined the CVB April 2001. She is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications. Camie leads the marketing and communications efforts for the CVB and oversees the development and delivery of the marketing strategy. Camie works to create compelling, creative and cutting-edge messaging on a variety of platforms to drive interest to Bismarck-Mandan. She works with travel writers and other media as well as developing the CVB's monthly newsletter and additional CVB publications.

Lindsey joined the CVB February 2018. As the Director of Sales she is responsible for overseeing the sales programs for the CVB. Lindsey determines target markets and strategies for conventions and meetings, in addition to sports and events, making sure they align with the overall mission of the CVB. Lindsey works with meeting and event planners, matching their needs with the facilities and services available in Bismarck-Mandan.

Karen joined the CVB June 2021. Karen has worked in the gaming industry as a Gaming Manager for the past 25 years. She holds degrees in Human Resources, Medical Administration and Psychology and has an Accounting education, as well. As an adept Gaming Manger, she uses her experience to proficiently manage our gaming sites.

Her many years of experience in accounting make her a great fit for the CVB. As the Controller, Melanie is responsible for maintaining the accounting records for the organization.
