Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau Launches Digital Savings Pass to Drive Business to Local Members

The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau (BMCVB), has launched the all-new, fully-digital, Bismarck-Mandan Savings Pass. It is a program that aims to drive local and out of town business to members of the BMCVB.

The pass is free that everyone is welcome to sign up for. With local member businesses included within the passport, it showcases the best of the Bismarck-Mandan area in an easy, mobile-friendly way.

Sheri Grossman, BMCVB CEO said, “As we look for ways to help our community recover, we are pleased to bring this new program to Bismarck-Mandan. We really wanted to invest in something that would be a substantial new benefit for our members who have invested in us. We wanted to thank them by investing back into them, to help their business, especially now. Visitors inject a lot of money into our economy and we want to help our businesses find the best way to reach this audience and also increase local traffic.”

Through the pass, visitors and locals are able to visit a dedicated landing page where they can sign-up for their Bismarck-Mandan Savings Pass by providing their name, e-mail address and mobile phone number. A link is then sent to their mobile phone, which opens the passport and directs the user to add the button icon to their home screen, where they can access it any time. There is never anything to download and no bulky apps take up space on a user’s phone. Once they are ready to redeem their pass, they simply show their phone with the offer at the checkout counter to access the savings.

Grossman noted, “In addition to customer ease, the passport offers great flexibility for the business offering the discount. Businesses can have multiple offers with different stipulations on each.”

Camie Lies, BMCVB Director of Marketing & Communications added, “We are glad we can bring a pass to people that can be updated as our membership grows and as our partners see fit. In the past, with a printed piece, we were locked-in for the year as soon as it was printed. With this format we can fine-tune the deals to make them a continual win-win for everyone.”

To download your Savings Pass, go to: www.noboundariesnd.com/savings-pass. After you download the pass, check back often as new members will be added throughout the year.

Grossman said, “Although we aren’t seeing a lot of visitors right now, this will position us to be ready as the volume increases. In addition, our residents can start using it immediately.”

Participation for BMCVB members is FREE. If you are a BMCVB member and have questions or would like an offer on the Savings Pass, please contact Camie Lies at: [email protected] to set-up your coupon(s).
