Bismarck-Mandan CVB Launches Partner Event Grant Program

The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau (BMCVB) has launched a partner grant program. The purpose is to provide financial assistance to qualified groups or organizations that promote the community by hosting meetings and events that provide economic benefits to Bismarck-Mandan. The events must attract out-of-town attendees and provide overnight stays in the community. Funds may be used for marketing, hospitality or operations.

Sheri Grossman, BMCVB CEO, said, “The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau understands the challenges that many organizations and groups face with staging successful events. With this in mind, we created a new program to offer financial assistant to groups holding events, that draw out-of-town visitors, in the Bismarck-Mandan area.”

“Our mission is to promote engaging visitor experiences resulting in community economic growth and quality of place. This grant program aligns well with our mission and is a great extension of the services that we already provide to meeting and event planners.”

In a typical year, the community hosts 500 multi-day meeting and events, drawing over 378,000 attendees that spend an estimated $32.6 million dollars locally. The BMCVB knows how important visitors are to the local economy and continue to look for new ways to make selecting Bismarck-Mandan easier.
