My performance can be energetic and interactive or reserved and ambient depending on the client's preference. I play piano and sing songs that cover a variety of genres and decades. I currently have over 800 songs in my repertoire and given notice can expand and prepare songs tailored to an individual event.

The 17th US Infantry Regiment is an organization of re-enactors portraying infantry soldiers, laundresses, and scouts of the 1870's. Based at Fort Abraham Lincoln, the 17th can provide soldiers for drill and ceremonies in the Bismarck-Mandan area or full encampment with laundresses cooking over open fire and full tentage with demonstrations.

Bis-Man Transit is a non-profit organization that provides transit to the communities of Bismarck, Mandan, and Lincoln. 

The CAT (Capital Area Transit) is the fixed-route bus system serving Bismarck and Mandan with 6 routes. Running Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on the route, and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on the route. The CAT bus route system allows riders to "Catch the CAT" by standing on nearly any block corner along the routes and access a bus.

Bis-Man paratransit door-to-door services are available to senior citizens 70 years of age or older and to individuals with any type of certifiable disability. Those under the age of 8 must have an escort. Bis-Man Transit operates within the city limits of Bismarck, Mandan, and Lincoln or within 3/4 mile of the fixed route (CAT Bus).

Carleen has spoken many times on multiple topics. Because her work involved grief care, some topics were 15 minute specific (emotions when we suffer loss: anger, guilt, fear; dealing with feeling overwhelmed; handling holidays, even pet loss) and other could last an hour. (Grief in general - coping mechanisms, etc.) Usually the groups requesting a speaker had a particular topic they were interested in.

Most of us know that we should take better care of ourselves, but it takes more than just good intentions to start an exercise program. It takes a healthy dose of motivation to get going and actually stick with it! This motivational presentation will address nutrition and fitness tips as well as strategies for "fitting it all in." In addition to addressing the physical rewards that are achieved at any age by being active, the session will discuss time management and stress reducing techniques to help you start or continue a healthy lifestyle that will keep you on track to personal success. Central Dakota Children’s Choir was formed to inspire children to a lifelong love of singing through the performance of fine choral music.  Each season, CDCC brings together 350+ singers in five choirs for grades 3 – 12 and pre-choirs for 1st & 2nd graders. Choir members come from a variety of backgrounds and attend private, public and homeschools in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

The choirs of Central Dakota Children’s Choir performs 30 to 40 times each season for a total audience of 12,000 to 15,000. Our choirs are recognized regionally and nationally for quality performances and have been invited, by audition, to perform at many state and regional events.

CDCC singers are challenged to become better musicians and better citizens. They learn discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. They gain both confidence and empathy. CDCC inspires children to find their unique voice so they can create a better tomorrow for themselves and others.

Display, Presentation and Firing Demonstration of a Gatling Fun.  Display, an exact replica fully functional full-scale Model 1874 10-barrel .45-70 caliber Gatling gun on a tripod is displayed with living history interpretation.  Presentation: An informational presentation in "first person" will be made on the type, caliber, weight, size, rate of fire, range, accuracy, ammunition, carriage, tripod, oscillator, cartridge feeding system, and mechanical operation of the Gatling Fun; why the U.S. Army adopted the gun; how the gun was used in Civil War and Indian War battles; and how the gun was operated by soldiers.  Firing Demonstrations: A firing demonstration of the Gatling Fun will be made with live blank cartridges.  The gun can fire up to 60 rounds per minute.  As a soldier turns the crank on the gun, the gun's cluster of ten barrels rotates and cartridges will be automatically cycled through the unique feeding, firing, and ejecting sequence.  As the gun is fired, the activity of the event comes alive with excitement.  People will hear the abrupt, rapid, loud report of gunfire, see smoke and fumes burst out of barrels, and smell burnt gunpowder.  The people will be entertained and receive a rare educational experience of a vivid close-up, personalized firing demonstration of the gun's devastating firepower that makes a lasting impression of their event.

The fact that he operates a 1000 acre beef farm brings credibility and integrity to his engaging performances of original songs and stories of land, family, and community. Over 20 years, I have given presentations to Christian Women's Clubs, Conventions, Kiwanis, Rotary Clubs, Elks, Medora, Toastmasters, and Hostfest.

Cottonwood Bluegrass is a 4-piece band that plays bluegrass, gospel, folk, and country music.  We enjoy playing a concert-style setting or as background music for events/socials.  We play for at least one hour, up to three hours.  We have a sound system set up and will play inside and outside.  We can play "unplugged" acoustic style outside if needed.  We are also willing to learn new music for events if needed and practice weekly.  We love to play music and entertain and are always looking for unique places to entertain. 

My program is composed of three different, get powerful parts, the first of which is my introduction. I usually prefer to greet the audience in an enthusiastic and high-energy manner. The crowd will usually become talkative as I encourage them to greet those people around them. The next portion of my performance is reserved for speaking. Usually organizations will request that I speak on a certain topic, but periodically I will be asked to use my own discretion. The topics that I choose from range from those that are educational to those that are focused on motivation. Regardless of the topic, the message is clear, clean, and creative. The last portion of my performance is powerful! I use a mix of music to create a mood that inspires me as I draw. The audience watches as a beautiful picture unfolds. They are changed as they realize the meaning that it has for them individually.

Family Folk sings a variety of music, including contemporary and traditional folk or "roots" music. This four-member family harmonizes acapella or accompanies themselves on acoustic instruments (guitar, banjo, dulcimer, button accordion, autoharp). They share songs from different cultures and languages, and can tailor a program to your particular interest. As 1870's historic re-enactors, they perform Civil War and post-Civil War music in costume, and currently present a program commemorating the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth.

Land in Hand is a husband-wife musical duo comprised of Joel and Alyssa Land. Joel was born and raised in Bismarck and they met in Tennessee while in college studying music. The pair has been performing and writing music together for over 5 years now. Their first joint music endeavors were for weddings or special events and as they continued to be asked to perform, they started writing original songs and completed their debut album in December of 2019 titled "Unexpected Wonderful". This album was entirely self-produced and all the instruments were recorded as performed by Joel. His primary instrument is saxophone (alto and tenor), but he is proficient on piano and guitar as well as flute and clarinet. Alyssa is a superb vocalist with extensive performance history as a soloist and among varied choirs. Se has incredible command and draws emotion from audiences of all ages. How To Decorate Your Home With God In Control!  Mary Lee's talk includes 1/3 humor, 1/3 feeding our souls (and trying to understand our husbands!) and 1/3 on decorating your home for little or nothing.  Surprisingly, these are all tied together.  Mary Lee will also customize her presentation to speak entirely on interior decorating, if desired.  Mary Lee is an independent Interior Decorating Consultant working out of her home.  Her degree is in Interior Design from NDSU.  She has been blessed to talk in front of more than a dozen groups in the last two years and she hopes you can be the next.

The Kids on the Block program uses an entertaining and educational medium of puppetry to teach children about social concerns, mental health issues and disability awareness. Lively and upbeat scripts create an environment of open communication for both children and adult audiences. Each performance concludes with a question and answer period with the audience asking questions directly of the puppets. During this time, myths and misconceptions are replaced with facts and sensitivity.

Miles of Smiles Clowns are available for picnics, conventions, trade shows, parties, parades and promotions.  We clowns specialize in "meet and greet" balloon sculpture and face painting.  We offer a 30-minute silly skits program with audience participation.  Short presentations on clown history and the insights of a ND clown can be tailored to your group's interests.  We are members of North Dakota Clowns and the World Clown Association.  We've been clowning for over 25 years.

Mystical Minds is a mentalism show. Mentalism is a form of magic that focuses on predictions and giving the illusion that we are predicting the thoughts and action of those we are performing for. The North Dakota State Library Disability Services provides talking books and magazines to any ND resident who is unable to read standard print material because of a visual, physical, or reading impairment. Dakota Radio Information Service (DRIS) is a radio broadcast for persons with print impairments. This broadcast is available 24 hours a day for persons living in the western two-thirds of ND. The local news is read live each weekday and is repeated in the evening. News is from Minot, Williston, Dickinson, Jamestown, Valley City and Bismarck. Radio Talking Book (RTB) is offered to the residents of eastern ND. The broadcast is out of Minnesota and is available 24 hours daily. Receivers are available on loan without charge to those who are eligible.

The North Dakota State Talking Book Library provides audio books and magazines to any ND resident who is unable to read standard print material because of a visual, physical, or reading impairment. There are two ways to receive books and magazines either through the U.S. Postal Service or download from the BARD, the Braille and Audio Reading Download service. Books, magazines and equipment sent to and returned by patrons through the mail qualify as “Free Matter for the Blind” and require no postage. The Northern Lights Chorus, a men's acapella chorus, is the Bismarck Mandan Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We love to entertain by putting on musical events and performing for community events and conventions. We also perform the National Anthem for visiting groups and sports events. Northern Plains Dance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Our professional training facility provides dance training for students ages 3 to adult. The Polish National Alliance Dancers hail from Warsaw, ND. These young performing ambassadors range in age from 3-43 and come from various communities all around eastern North Dakota. The dancers perform regional dances of Poland and other selections, wearing colorful authentic costumes of Poland. Lively music is representative of this dance group with audience participation. They perform at festivals, summer parades, nursing home facilities, museums, church gatherings, telethons, fairs and private parties. Dancing at "First Night" in Grand Forks - New Years' Eve - has been a highlight of the past two sessions. These dancers have performed at the Fargodome with national polka celebrity, Jimmy Sturr of New York, and most recently at Marketplace in Grand Forks. They have also competed at the ND State Fair in Minot. These performers are sponsored by the Polish National Alliance of Chicago, IL, the largest ethnic fraternal organization in the U.S.

Renae is an experienced accompanist for church choirs, instrumentalists, and soloists and is currently an organist and choir accompanist for Messiah Lutheran Church in Mandan. She enjoys playing piano for corporate events, meetings, private parties, receptions, Christmas parties, and banquets. The River Rhapsody Chorus (member of Sweet Adeline's International) has been entertaining in the area for 40 years. We are a women's group and sing four-part acappella harmony, barbershop style. The Rock'n Cloggers do a form of dance called "clog dance", a folk dance that originated in the Appalachian Mountain area and is a mixture with Irish folk dancing (modified like "Riverdance").  Scottish Fling and German Folk Dancing.  Music is traditional music that is some Country, Blue Grass, but dance to all styles of music.  The unique sound of clog dancing comes from the jingle taps that are attached to the shoes.  Their style is precision step in line formation and is a style of clogging that is a traditional style.

Savanah Benz is a country music singer-songwriter and performer. She currently performs between North Dakota and Nashville. She's also a Nashville recording artist. Savanah plays the acoustic guitar as well. She can provide her own music equipment for shows if necessary. She has opened for famous country singers: David Lee Murphy, Julia Cole, Brandon Jones etc. Places she's performed at include: Bismarck Event Center, ND Country Fest, Roughrider Center, Phat Fish, Gideon's Brewing, Laughing Sun Brewing, The Drink, Blackstone Tavern, 1603 Main Events, etc. Lastly, Savanah has original music on all streaming platforms that she recorded. Steve Harmon has been performing around the Bismarck/Mandan area for many years as a solo artist and as a member of the dance bands Tapestry and Classic Rhythm. Steve currently offers the following five solo concerts: 1. Cowboy – 50 minutes of old western cowboy music, including songs from the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry, Eddie Arnold, Marty Robbins, etc. 2. Professional rodeo clown for the humorous/motivational after-dinner speeches. Growing up with 17 brothers and sisters, and traveling 32 years as a professional rodeo clown leads one to really believe "It's not the miles you travel, it's the songs you sing!"

Founded in 1987, The Strolling Strings of Bismarck is a performing organization sponsored by the Bismarck Public School in Bismarck, North Dakota.  What started out as one performing group has now grown to three different groups including student in 5th-12th grade.  The group of 100+ string players on violin, viola, cello and string bass have created quite a name for themselves in central North Dakota.  They have requests from organizations and businesses throughout the area to entertain at their conventions or special dinners. In addition to their performances in their region, their travels have taken them to perform on both coasts-from New York to San Francisco, from Orlando to Seattle.
