Bismarck Event Center

Located in the heart of Bismarck, the Bismarck Event Center Arena and Exhibit Hall is a mainstay in the community. With over 100,000 square feet of space available for anything from small meetings to large conventions and concerts, the facility is a premier venue in central North Dakota.

Arena

The Bismarck Event Center Arena is located in the heart of Bismarck, within walking distance of downtown, major shopping hubs, restaurants and five of the area’s premier hotels. Easy access to I-94 and ten minutes from the airport makes the Bismarck Event Center Arena a prime location for sporting events, meetings, conference, concerts, shows and much more.

The arena has ten meeting rooms offering over 7,000 square feet of meeting space. The main arena is 32,000 square feet of unobstructed floor space with a seating capacity up to 10,000 depending on the event needs.

The welcoming lobby with floor to ceiling windows, video monitors and a large screen projecting arena activities create an enhanced atmosphere as guests enter the building. The variety of rooms, spaces and seating make the Bismarck Civic Center Arena truly one of the most versatile, state-of-the-art facilities in the region.

Exhibit Hall

The 100,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall may be divided by a soundproof
retractable 30’ wall, allowing up to four events to be held simultaneously. For convenience, the Exhibit Hall is fully equipped with power, water, a 7,200 square-foot-enclosed support area and large overhead doors. The new lobby boasts an open atmosphere welcoming guests to the four exhibit halls. Hall A includes an extra set of men’s and women’s restrooms, catering room and private dressing room. Exclusive in-house catering is available. Portable seating/staging, tables, podiums, microphones and easels are available upon request. A public address system, lighting and sound system runs throughout the entire facility. The upper lobby, embellished by natural light, leads into five contemporary upscale meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 520 banquet style and 800 theater style. Highlighting the mezzanine level are two glass bay windows overlooking the exhibit hall and an impressive lifesize North Dakota Centennial Art Series.

Belle Mehus Auditorium

The historic Belle Mehus Auditorium, located in downtown Bismarck, is a treasured jewel within the community. Hosting its first show January 1914, this 452 seat theater has been part of the culture of the area for Italian operettas to film screening and from classical music to modern ballet. A 966 square foot stage and a 315 square foot orchestra pit bring performances to life as patrons enjoy seating on the main level, in the balcony or in one of the 24 box seats. There is also a Conductor’s room perfect for small receptions before any performance. (The Belle Mehus Auditorium is separate from the Bismarck Event Center, but managed by the same team.)
